Welcome to the “Word on the Street” newsletter.
Each month we promise to keep you informed of news and events relating to your grassroots community football club – Perry Street FC

Welcome Perry Street FC Girls!

And to our new PSFC Girls coaches Richard Carroll and Tony Brown. Our first girls training session got off to a flyer earlier this month and so far the feedback from the girls and parents has been great!

This is an exciting time for PSFC and a first for the club as girls football continues to go from strength to strength.

After a few months training together we’ll be ready to register our first all girls team in the BCYFA next season. We wish Richard, Tony and the girls our best wishes and hope for huge success at Perry Street!

AGM
The Perry Street FC AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd May – 7:30pm
Canon Roche Hall, Laindon Road, Billericay, CM12 9LL

The time to dazzle is almost here!

This Friday we look forward to partying the night away with many of you at Stockbrook Manor. Arrive for an outdoor drinks reception at 7:30pm (we hope the weather is kind) before the party begins in the Rosewood Suite.

The gala dinner follows the reception drinks at 8pm during which there will be a chance to win a £100 cash prize in a fun game of heads and tails.

At 10pm the DJ begins with your favorite floor fillers and the free bar opens for the rest of the night but be sure to get your picture taken while you’re still looking your best!

The online auction will be live and in the room with the bidders leader-board displayed on screen to add to the excitement!

The evening comes to a close at 1:00am with carriages at 1:30am.

See you on Friday!

REMINDER for Football Boot Donations

Can we have your old discarded football boots?

Its almost the time of year when we go out and shop for new boots for next season so if you have pairs of football boots in decent condition that are no longer needed, can we take them off your hands and sell them in our Boot re-cycle?

We’d like to offer discounted pre-loved boots to our Perry Street family whilst raising money for the club. Any pre-loved football boots would be gratefully received and can be dropped off by the Cabin on Saturday or Sunday Mornings.

The “Cub House” (Cabin)

Work is underway behind the scenes to revamp the former café and turn it into a space for parents, players and their siblings to relax, hang out or shelter from the notorious Barleylands weather! All will be revealed very soon…..
